A $20 MILLION initiative to put the first fleet of electric cars on Singapore roads this year is picking up pace, with the Government calling a tender soon for a network of charging stations.The Energy Market Authority (EMA) said the tender will be out this quarter, and that the network will be up by the third or fourth quarter of this year.
EMA deputy chief executive David Tan said: 'We envisage that there will be at least one charging station for each electric vehicle being tested.'
Wondering how much does it cost to refill up to 1 full tank of "petrol" aka electricity? How long does it take to refill or recharge the batteries? It takes 1 hour to recharge an normal AA size battry. I guess roughly can estimated the time taken
